A brief update re contract negotiations. I met with Essar Steel Algoma on Friday June 25, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. With me was Jack Bright and from the salaried group was Don Barill and Bernie Heintzman and a member of the social group 1009 whose name escapes me at the moment. The presentation lasted about one hour and in my opinion went well. On the Company side was John Delorenzi, Brenda Stenta and Terry Scott. This group will report back to the main company negotiations team. We learned from Terry Scott about the high cost of drugs, especially the administration fees paid by Green Shield. I invited her to make a presentation to us in September. Possibly there is a way that the retirees can help lower the cost. So now we wait.

PS We are still looking for a larger meeting place and will advise you once we have accomplished this task.
